Hi does anyone know how to free up a sissy bar on a mk1 as i have brought a 1970 mk1 from bvf this weekend and the sissy bar is jammed rock solid ,I have tried tapping the back tubes where the sissy goes in to free it up but no joy thanks dylan.

Just keep useing WD40 and get an nice bit off blank off wood an twist it from side to side
No need for hammers it might spilt the solider on the frame

it was ok ive just got back from g.o.t.h as ive got a beetle but the weather was a bit grim apart from that it was ok
